My father passed away recently. I have inherited all of his model kits. He died at 72. Now I have all the original Aurora monster kits not built. Plus all of the remakes from Polar Lights and Amoeba. Multiples of the same kits as well. Some still unopened.

I've never seen anyone put the hand on in that direction. Looks good. I have one, too. I sculpted my own tongue as well

Did you have a lot of fitment issues with this kit? I seen another modeler building it and said there were a lot of gaps. Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

素晴らしいの一言です。自分が小学校の頃、ひとつ650円でした。小遣い貯めて、(貯めるのは当時650円でも大金でした)最初に買ったのがMUMMYでした。凄いインパクトで半世紀以上経った現在、調べたらバマ？と言うパッケージのイラストで造形師はビル·レモンと言う人でした。このムァミーはボリス・カーロフではなく、当時の映画を調べて様々なDVD買い漁りましたら、イラストそっくりのミイラシリーズの何巻かにがありました。でも映画では脚にコブラは巻き付いているシーンはありません。 つまりこれはオーロラ独自の想像力と創造力で世に発表したと思います。 その他、イラスト見ると、当時誰をモデルにして造っていたか? ウルフマンにしてもイラストとプラモは違います。イラストはロンJRで独特のインパクトある豚っぽい狼。ところが中身は全く違う狼男。ハンチャバックも中身は無声映画時代の有名なノートルダム寺院、及び大聖堂でのロケのロン·チャニーで、箱のイラストはアンソニー·クインとか何種…オペラにしても後方下の監禁された人も映画にはなかったし。何しろオーロラは独自のインパクトで独特な想像力で素晴らしいプラモを造っていましたね。本当に色々ありますね。60年以上経ってオーロラの歴史を検索するのもワクワクします。それだけ子供心に焼き付いた素晴らしいメーカーですね!

I LOVE Tim Bruckner. LOVE HIM. but i've tried to make his Wax as the Formula is in the Book of Pop Sculpture, and it has Failed EVERY TIME. it always comes out a GHASTLY Color, and there isn't anything i can do to fix it. i wish i could speak to him for just 15 minutes to help solve my problem, because God knows i want to follow in his Footsteps to SOME Degree.

I just finished my painting of this one the other day. I didnt close all seams as i normally would, but it came out pretty okay for the QC of American models of the era.

Watched him in V as a kid and had a terrible crush then. So awesome to still see him in videos here.

I had all these when I was a kid. About ten years later Aurora started making some of the model pieces glow in the dark. I was too old to play with monsters by then, but still young enough to consider this “glow-in-the-dark” crap to be blasphemous.

It was so much fun being a kid in the late 60s and 70s. I built all of those kits.
